Used Plate and Frame Filter Presses

The used plate and frame filter press remains the standard for high-pressure batch filtration where a dry, handleable cake is required. Slurry is pumped into the cavities between alternating plates and frames; filtrate passes through the cloth and drains via channels while solids build up as a cake. We carry units in polypropylene and cast iron frames, with filter areas from a few m² up to large multi-plate configurations. The filter press hydraulic system — pump, cylinder, and pressure gauge — is checked and documented with each unit.

Used Belt Filter Presses

A used belt press offers continuous, high-throughput dewatering for applications where a plate press would be too slow or labour-intensive. The feed slurry is distributed across two tensioned filter belts that squeeze out filtrate as they run through a series of rollers. Common duties: municipal and industrial sludge, paper mill effluent, fish and food slurries.
