About Used Reactors & Mixing Equipment

Reactors and mixing equipment are at the core of chemical synthesis, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food processing. SIGMA Process Equipment maintains a regularly updated inventory of used chemical reactors for sale — glass lined, stainless steel, high pressure, and Hastelloy — alongside used industrial mixers and blenders and solid-dosage equipment including used granulators and tablet presses.

Every reactor we sell is inspected before listing. Key parameters — working pressure, jacket type, material of construction, agitator type, and nozzle configuration — are documented in the condition report provided with each quote.

Used Reactors in Stock

• Used glass lined reactors — glass lined (enamel) steel vessels for acid and corrosive chemical duty. Common capacities 500 L to 10,000 L.
• Used stainless steel reactors — SS 304, SS 316L jacketed vessels with anchor, paddle, or turbine agitators.
• Used high pressure reactors — rated for elevated pressure and temperature, used in hydrogenation, polymerization, and specialty chemical synthesis.
• Used Hastelloy reactors — C-276 and B-2 alloy vessels for highly corrosive process streams.

Used Industrial Mixers & Blenders

Our mixer inventory covers ribbon blenders, industrial mixing tanks with agitators, homogenizers, and V blenders. Inventory in this category is lean — we source on request. Submit an RFQ describing your required capacity, material, and mixing duty and we will locate suitable equipment.

Used Granulators & Tablet Presses

Used pharmaceutical solid-dosage equipment including granulators (rapid mixer granulators, fluid bed granulators), tablet presses, and capsule filling machines. Stock is limited; most units are sourced to order. Share your specification and we will respond with availability and lead time.

Buying Used Reactors: What to Check

Key inspection points include glass lining condition (spark test), jacket integrity, nozzle flange condition, agitator shaft seal, and motor/gearbox state. We provide inspection photos and available service records with every quote — contact us to request a quote on specific units.
